The Concept2 Model D delivers proven performance and fitness benefits. Introduced in 2003, the Model D can be found in homes, health clubs, schools and training rooms around the globe.
In August 2006, we redesigned the framelock and footstretchers for easier separation and a cleaner look.

Indoor Rower Model D Specifications:
The Concept2 Model D is an institutional-grade rowing exercise machine with air-resistance flywheel, sliding seat, and self-calibrating electronic performance monitor.
Space Requirements: The Concept2 Model D Indoor Rower measures 2.4m long by 60cm maximum width. An area of 2.7m by 1.2m is required for operation of the machine. Monitor is powered by 2 D batteries which are included. No external power source is needed. Storage requirement for two upright pieces is 70cm x 89cm x 1.2m high.
Machine Weight: The Indoor Rower weighs 28kg. It has a detachable monorail. The monorail half of the machine weighs approx. 8kg. The front half weighs approx. 20kgs and has caster wheels to move it around.
User Weight Limitations: We recommend a maximum user weight of 227kgs for the Indoor Rower.
Construction: Frame: extruded aluminum I-beam monorail with stainless steel seat track.
Flywheel: Fully enclosed chain driven flywheel is steel with glass reinforced ABS squirrel cage fan attached. The flywheel enclosure is made of hi-impact, ABS Thermo-plastic. “Quiet Cog” system significantly softens the sound of rowing by damping the chain noise with a urethane washers on each side of the cog. The idler pulleys and travelling pulley are made of a Thermo-plastic elastomer for increased durability and noise reduction.
PM4 Monitor: LCD digital display features time/distance rowed; calories burned; power produced (watts); stroke rate; stroke output (watts, calories, meters); average pace (time per 500 meters); library of preset workouts (timed, distance, timed interval, distance interval); projected finish (time or distance); split memory recall function; built in heart rate technology (chest belt provided). Choose from a variety of units and graphic display options including Force Curve, Paceboat and Bar Chart. C2 LogCard easily and automatically record workouts and track progress without separate paper record of each workout. PC-interface – transfer LogCard data to your personal computer. Rechargeable battery pack to recharge your battery while rowing.
Misc: Adjustable air resistance; Flexfoot(TM) adjustable footboard system; impact-resistant, glass-reinforced Nylon, ergonomically-designed handle with overmolded soft rubber grips; molded rubber foot pads; anatomically designed seat top; built in caster wheels; quick disconnect feature for compact storage.

Spare Parts and Service: Spare parts are available direct from the Concept2 New Zealand Ltd. Machines are user serviceable. Initial assembly takes approximately 30 minutes and subsequent installation of the most common spare parts is not difficult.
